    Verdict

Agravain was bidding for a fourth victory in five starts off his new mark at Ripon but finished last and the handicapper may be in charge now. NEARLY THERE beat an in-form rivals over track and trip in June and wasn’t disgraced on a return visit last month. Still unexposed on Turf, he could be the answer to a tricky first division of this low-grade handicap in which several have decent claims. Nottingham runner-up The Fiddler is one and Vintage Rose is another after much-improved second over 1m4f at Pontefract but Casa Comigo lacks a recent run. Flower Power and Lincoln Tale look the pick of the remainder.
