          Verdict

          Yet another difficult race to work out and Favouring is the tentative choice to beat, Elkhorn and Primarily. The selection takes a step back in trip having failed to last home over seven furlongs and a mile recently. He is a bold front runner and if he gets his own way up front he may take some catching over this distance. It is good to see Alan Berry back in the winners circle and his runner Primarily, a recent third at Thirsk behind Marajel, should be in the shake up again this afternoon. Ellkhorn was successful over course and distance last time and has to be rated a major threat under his capable rider. The best of the remainder could be Bond Free Spirit, but the drop in trip should suit Favouring and he gets our vote.
