Verdict
Film Maker, Accused and Actabou look the trio to focus on in a race where there is little solid form, and Film Maker may be the one to side with. Accused shaped well here on his debut, and was made favourite at Doncaster last Saturday night but ran disappointingly. Trainer Jeremy Noseda clearly feels there is nothing amiss and he has found an easier opportunity here and he can hit the frame. Second in a fair contest at Thirsk last season, Actabou has not really gone on from that and he ran only respectably on his seasonal debut. He will be sharper for that run though, and in this weak affair he is respected. After an excellent run at Headquarters on his debut, Film Maker re-appeared in a Newbury maiden last weekend where there were a number of fancied runners, but he shaped well to be fifth. Brought back a furlong here, his form looks head and shoulders ahead of his rivals and Film Maker can take this.
