        Verdict

        A wide open contest gets proceedings under way and the market may prove the best guide as to what is expected of the newcomers but they will not have to be anything special to defeat those that have ran so we will take a chance on Heartbeat. The filly by Pursuit Of Love is held in high regard by her shrewd trainer and she is sure to have been well schooled and will not be far away. Appetina is another well bred newcomer that catches the eye on breeding and with the James Given horses still in good form is another to consider. Miss Eloise is from a top yard and could go well but its stable two year olds usually come on for there first run of the season. Of those to have run Dance To My Tune ran well on her debut and is sure to improve but this looks a much more competitive race.
