In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap in which many have chances on there best form but we will take a chance on the improving Night Market. The gelding from the Noel Wilson yard was a fair third behind Supreme Salutation last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close with conditions in his favour. Cyclonic Storm rates the main danger despite top weight. He was a fair second behind Amaros last time and a reproduction of that effort would give him definite place claims. Ben Hur was in front of Night Market last time out but he is worse off at the weights and he may struggle to confirm his superiority on these revised terms. Down To The Woods has dropped to a handy mark and has conditions in his favour so he could run well at a big price with the booking of Philip Robinson catching the eye. Apache Point is another that could go well at a big price but his best efforts of late have come with more cut in the ground. Of the remainder Katiypour is from a shrewd yard and any market confidence should be noted.
