        Verdict

        This could rest between Sir Anthony and Fenrir, who have both shown the ability to handle soft ground, and preference is for the former, who can utilise his advantage in terms of experience. Cool Panic is also worth having a look at, as he has hinted that there are races to be won with him and, as his trainer has a good strike-rate at this track, he is no forlorn hope to make the journey up form Newmarket worthwhile. Fenrir belittled his 100/1 odds when scoring at Ayr last time after protracted battle to the finish. He is unlikely to be anywhere near double figures tonight though and, with conditions to suit, should go well. However, Sir Anthony has taken on much stiffer opposition than this during his brief career to date and he is fancied to make the most of this ease in grade.
