A disappointingly small field for the prize-money available makes the task ahead of Swift Tango and easier one as he bids to topple the in-form Orange Touch and Supremacy, who arrive here at the top of their game and are entitled to plenty of respect. The last named is on a retrieval mission after finding the trip too far in the Goodwood Cup last time, but he still emerged with plenty of credit as he stuck on well near the finish. The drop in distance will help his cause and he has to be feared as a live danger to them all. Orange Touch could provide the selection with the most to do, as he is a lightly raced sort that has bags of scope now that he has found the winning thread. This looks to be the acid test for the Amanda Perrett-trained colt and he is definitely one to be wary of if there is a good vibe surrounding his challenge before the off. However, Swift Tango won well in a similar race at Chester last weekend - where he easily coped with the soft ground to score a decisive victory in the end. Ed Dunlop has obviously found the key to his charge and, as he should improve for this sterner test of his stamina, Swift Tango is taken to make a quick return to the winners enclosure whilst his confidence is on a high.
