Verdict

Maiden handicaps are frequently punting minefields but SATANIC MOON should deliver a good account. He overcame a slow start last time to come home a solid second of 13 over this trip and guaranteed stamina should see him competitive off a 2lb higher mark of 65. Claritudo has yet to tackle this far but a strong finish over a mile and a half last time suggests he could benefit from this extra two furlongs. His stable is going along really well. Most of the others have bits and pieces of form but Carbonado is suggested as the other one for the shortlist after a good runner-up effort over course and distance this month. Mister Camacho is an each-way option too.
