Verdict
A low-grade handicap with DEPART A MINUIT a hopeful choice. The O'Meara colt has less miles on the clock than most, has shown glimmers of ability in maiden and novice runs and could prove suited by handicap company off an initial mark of 64. In contrast, Rum Going On is rated on 59 despite a sequence of solid performances in handicaps at this grade. He's likely to run to his mark and warrants serious consideration for the Quinn and Hart team. Kodebreaker rates a likely improver at this level after a better showing last time and is expected to appreciate this seventh furlong for the first time too. Bearcardi appeals as an each-way option.
