    In depth

    Verdict

Cuban Dancer won a Newmarket handicap in very convincing fashion and started a short-priced favourite at Beverley but ran a shocker and finished last. Fast Medicine lost his maiden tag over 7f at Chelmsford and was staying on over that trip on ground with some give at Catterick next time. BLU BOY's three recent victories have been on fast going and Tapeta though he ran well enough on soft going at York in May and his overall form puts him in the driving seat even though Cosmos Raj produced his best-ever performance to land a Newmarket handicap last month and is only 4lb higher.
