        Verdict

        Mikmak likes plenty of give in the ground as he showed when comfortably landing a Pontefract handicap last week so more rain would help. The Big House was a disappointment at Catterick last month though has been dropped again in the weights but it's about time COME ON LINDA was winning. Placed on several occasions last summer, she ran a fine race in a ladies' race at Catterick under a huge weight and can finally get off the mark. Tarnhelm doesn't win often but is rarely beaten far at this sort of level and should get into the frame.
