Verdict
King's Kama won well at Wolverhampton last time and remains open to improvement but faces a stiffer task back on turf today so preference is for Nevada Desert, who gets the vote ahead of Look Again. The last mentioned was a debut winner as a juvenile and is less exposed than most of these after just two starts but would not appear to be particularly well treated on the evidence of his subsequent outing at Doncaster. Gerard Butler's Warwick winner Compton Drake was well held at Newmarket last time and of more interest may be the Alan Jarvis-trained Desert Reign, who is entitled to strip fitter for his reappearance at Good wood last month. Miss Polaris has been running well of late and should stay today's longer trip although she has been done few favours with the draw, while Summer Bounty made an encouraging return at Windsor and should strip fitter for the run. Tom Tate's Another Bottle needs a career best effort to score but may improve for today's longer trip and is another to consider but the vote goes to Nevada Desert, who defied an absence from the track to win at Thirsk last month and should be suited by the longer trip and faster ground today.
