    Verdict

Point Taken won a maiden on the all-weather last year and could figure on only his second outing for Mick Appleby but COUNTRY scored in novice company over a mile at Redcar in April and is preferred. This longer trip should not be a problem given the ease of his victory and there looks plenty more to come from the Haggas charge now gelded. Noble Prospector has failed to show much progress though should be in the mix once again but neither of the newcomers makes any appeal.
