Dew Pond has been thereabouts since scoring at Thirsk last month and went close over 1m6f at Catterick last time when just ahead of Jan De Heem with Point Of Honour and Midnight Warrior further behind. Strategic was winning for the first time in 16 attempts when successful at Musselburgh and Myklachi is preferred attempting this longer trip for the first time after returning a losing favourite over 1m2f. But BURNAGE BOY remains unexposed and after placing over 1m4f at Pontefract a fortnight ago, he gets the vote to open his account.
