    Verdict

Willie Haggas won this race with the smart Harris Tweed last year and is represented by his half-brother Beaten Up today but Sir Michael Stoute has also won this before and GOODNESS will also attract plenty of attention. He finished only a modest fourth over a mile at Newbury on his debut but, as entries in the Dante and Derby suggest, he'll appreciate this longer trip here. Henry Cecil introduces Dervisher, a half-brother to dual winner Whirly Dancer, while Madison Square makes his reappearance for Godolphin. Carrowbeg and Honest Deal can improve but Galloping Queen looks pretty exposed now.
