      Verdict

The sales price of INTENT rocketed from the amount that she realised as a yearling and with a similar contest at Windsor sidestepped we will trust Michael Bell's judgment regarding the validity of this opportunity. Catching the eye on debut at Pontefract with a staying on fourth, it was surprising to see her sent off at a starting price of 15/8 at Wolverhampton, though the manner of her success was anything but. Lady Loch has taken time to come to hand and while highly regarded by connections in the past, it is only now that she is beginning to show her ability on the track. Sakhee's Pearl confirmed that she can handle Turf as well as Polytrack with a solid second at Goodwood while Miss Ellany has been consistent in races of this nature in the past and would be far from inconvenienced by any of the rain that is forecast to hit the area.
