In depth

Verdict

After winning at Doncaster, Francophilia was a little unlucky at Thirsk and Mark Johnston’s filly will be out to make amends today. War Brigade makes a quick reappearance after placing over a longer trip at Nottingham on Monday while Appointed has dropped to a mark from which he should be capable of winning. ALBERT BOY keeps finding one too good but his luck will surely change before long and he does best in small fields like this. Remember The Days is better over shorter trips and looks held on the form book.
