In depth
Verdict
Silva Eclipse is progressing fast and is ideally suited by long distances. He's been raised 6lb for completing a Carlisle double and this is a higher class event but he's still likely to be in the firing line. The other three-year-old, Kajaki, finally got his head in front at Haydock though that was over 1m4f and he hasn't quite convinced over longer trips. The veteran ITLAAQ returned to winning ways over 1m4f at Thirsk and has won from higher marks than this over tonight's distance in the past so can complete a double. Pat Shanahan sends Lara Carbonara over from Ireland but she's been beaten off lower marks at Hamiliton in her past three starts. Gleese The Devil ended the last campaign landing a York handicap over this trip and will have needed his recent comeback at Chester but Wishing Well has now had 19 starts without winning and gets no respite from the assessor due to her consistency.
