Verdict

An early test for three-year-olds up against older fillies. Crystal Casque is a dual course and distance winner while Granary Queen never seems to run a bad race. Rose Prick was a length-and-a-half ahead of Palm Lily in a valuable nursery at Newmarket in September but the latter is now 3lb better off. MILE END, transformed by blinkers, won at the Curragh and Navan in the autumn when trained by Johnny Murtagh. She’s now with Michael Bell and can make a winning reappearance.
