Verdict

In a modest handicap, Turnberry gets the vote, with others to have a look at including Pererin, Dalida, Even Easier and Yamato Pink. The selection looked set to score at Warwick last time before his stamina seemed to give out over a rain-softened mile at Warwick. Given that he is dropped in trip today and the opposition looks modest, he looks to hold a good chance. Of his opponents, Pererin has been raised seven pounds for a modest Brighton win, while Dalida has shown promise and the drop to seven furlongs might suit her better than the mile she ran over last time. Sharplaw Destiny could improve for first-time blinkers, as could Even Easier, who is bred more for this type of trip than the 10 furlongs he ran over last time, while Yamato Pink comes into the argument based on a very good second at Lingfield last time over six furlongs and she should appreciate this seventh furlong. Overall, though, once again the selection is Turnberry.
