    Verdict

A strong renewal and a chance is taken on FANUNALTER ahead of Secrecy and Pressing. Marco Botti's gelding should relish the return to a mile today and he looked a tad unlucky when fourth behind Pressing in an Italian Group 2 in May. Daryll Holland has ridden him to Listed success at Doncaster before so he looks a positive jockey booking today. Pressing rates a big danger but his 5lb penalty makes life tough, and therefore a bigger threat could be Secrecy who was a progressive handicapper when last seen on these shores and is respected despite costly Dubai reversals this Winter. Dream Eater drops in grade but he struggles to poke his grey head in front and he is reluctantly opposed, along with Group 1 winner Hearts Of Fire (against the older brigade for the first time) and the hugely progressive handicapper Sea Lord. Nideeb joins that group although any market support would be interesting for a colt who has been off the track for a long time but looked smart as a two-year-old.
