Verdict

Those with form haven't looked like world beaters so close attention must be paid to the newcomers with ONE COOL POPPY one that looks the part on paper. Many A Slip and Magic Lantern provide some of the best form on offer. Harry Dunlop's charge is related to a winning juvenile and has plenty of speed in her pedigree which bodes well and the trainer has done fairly well with his newcomers over the years although this season has been a little quiet thus far. Many A Slip will attract the lion's share of support with Ryan Moore a positive booking for the yard; he's performed creditably on both starts since debut and has leading claims. Magic Lantern stepped up on her debut form to chase home subsequent Group 3 placed Sent From Heaven at Kempton. Other than the winner, the form hasn't been tested yet but she represents a yard with a strong hand in this division. Abriachan, Firehawk and Ilston Lord all showed enough to think that they can play a hand if progressing from their initial starts whilst Hum Again, Sun Dream and Perfect Vision are three more names to note in the market which may help guide but One Cool Poppy is the pick.
