Verdict
GALILEAN MOON could be the answer to this competitive fillies' maiden where Floodlit and Piquante may also figure. The Master of Freemason Lodge has an excellent record here for a surprisingly large level stakes profit and it would be no surprise were this late developing filly to add to the spoils. She has progressed with every start and has been fortunate to escape with an initial rating of 77. She shapes like a thorough stayer so there's always the danger that she could become outpaced and there are some equally unexposed sorts in opposition. Chief amongst them could be Floodlit who was asked to contest the Listed Lingfield Oaks Trial on her reappearance which turned out to be too big an ask. She's been given plenty of time to recover from that outing and it will be interesting to see if there's any confidence behind her. Doggerbank has made quite hard work of things so far so the jury will hang fire with regard to her chance in what appears to be a competitive heat. Yonder has more obvious claims now back over this trip but this looks tougher than the race she won over course and distance in June from a 7lb lower mark. Lake Kalamalka looks vulnerable but is not entirely dismissed and nor is Piquante who shaped as though this trip would be within her scope when staying on over ten furlongs at Nottingham and it could bring about further improvement but the claims of Galilean Moon are stronger.
