Verdict
Soufah is taken to score here with Our Teddy and Fort Churchill nominated to chase him home. This 4-year-old from the John Dunlop yard has finished second on each of his last three starts. He ran a blinder when a close second behind Gringo at Newmarket last time and a reproduction of that effort would surely suffice for him today. Our Teddy won well at Beverley last time when beating Mount Usher but he had the run of the race that day and his overall win record hardly inspires confidence so we are happy to pass him over. Fort Churchill is a course and distance winner and he scored impressively at Newcastle when beating Donna's Double last time. He is best off a strong pace and if he gets that today then he will not be far away at the finish. Snark is from a yard in form and he is another to note in the market, but for the winner we are happy to return to Soufah.
