Caressed gets the confident vote in the finale with Usk Poppy and Penfection put forward as the main dangers. The selection is impossible to oppose as she has won on each of her last two starts and on both occasions the form has worked out well. She has a decent draw here and she should prove too strong. Usk Poppy is another filly in decent form and she has to be of interest on her handicap bow, especially as she won her maiden on this track in decent fashion last time. Penfection raced too keenly at Newcastle last time, so she is certainly capable of better than she showed that day but she has plenty to prove at present and she is probably best watched. My Lovely Lady is game and consistent and is another to consider but for the winner we are happy to stick with Caressed.
