Verdict

Leviathan won this a year ago from a 5lb higher mark and, though in poor form recently, don't be surprised by a much better effort. Vainglory, runner-up that day, has been going better and can make his presence felt as he's due a victory and Laura Pike gets on well with him. Trade Commissioner has only had three runs and appeared to pull too hard over 1m2f at Newmarket last time. His earlier victory was on fast ground and he's worth taking on under softer conditions. SHAMAAL NIBRAS is improving rapidly and though his three victories have been over shorter trips he was very impressive at Sandown last time and gets the vote to follow up.
