A hatful of chances in what should prove a dour contest in the conditions but it's worth giving another chance to BOLD PLAN. The Williams inmate landed a similarly competitive contest at Haydock in November but got no further than the third at Ascot recently. There is a question mark about the trip which he tackles for the first time but he's a smooth traveller and is worth the risk for a yard ticking along sweetly. Dangers abound but Broughtons Admiral makes some appeal despite this rise in class as he stays well, looks on a fair mark and arrives on the back of a decisive success latest. He'll handle the ground too. Big Shark remains open to progression after just four runs and is respected along with the likes of West To The Bridge and Ask Ben in the big Saturday handicap hurdle.
