    Verdict

Cape Dollar beat Cochabamba in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes as a youngster and has been highly tried since. She appreciated the slight easing of grade when fourth in a Listed handicap at Royal Ascot but still finished more than three lengths behind runner-up Dubai Queen and this looks a stiff task conceding weight to some less exposed rivals. Roger Varian is already gaining a reputation for improving the fillies in his care and NAHRAIN looks a typical case of work in progress but she could hardly have been more impressive in winning a Haydock handicap by five lengths last month and looks ready to earn some black type now. Primevere and Cloud Illusions both have ability but could struggle to make an impact at this level.
