Verdict
Andrew Balding has not had a great deal to cheer this term but The Fisio won well enough under similar conditions at Hamilton last month and has to be respected off a 3lb higher mark but preference is for Whistler, who gets the verdict over Zoom Zoom. The selection caught the eye when unlucky behind Catch The Cat at Musselburgh last week and off the same mark holds solid claims. Zoom Zoom beat Up Tempo in the soft at Haydock on his reappearance and a disappointing effort at Ayr subsequently could be attributed to unfavourably fast conditions. Top weight Further Outlook has claims on the form of his reappearance success at Kempton but has given little sign of encouragement since then and of more interest may be Port St Charles, who has been given a chance by the handicapper but may want the ground to dry up. Nivernais and the reappearing Wicked Uncle are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Whistler who is taken to make amends for an unlucky defeat last time.
