In depth

Verdict

Wovoka, Le Soleil and Del Mar Sunset are three against the field in a wide-open finale and the vote is given to Le Soleil. The selection won with plenty in hand last time out when beating Great Quest and although having a penalty for that win he remains at the right end of the handicap and under similar conditions here he looks the one to be on. Wovoka rates the main danger on his latest second behind Lake Poet. He remains well weighted on his best form but he looks sure to be taken on for the lead and he is opposed on that basis. Del Mar Sunset is another that could go well as he beat Pagan Sword a shade cozily last time but this looks tougher and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Prince Nureyev is game and consistent and is sure to run well but he will do well to win under top weight, while Greek Well is another with place claims on his best form but dissapointed for no apparent reason last time out. So for the winner we return to Le Soleil.
