A tough one to call and Masi Moon is a far from confident choice to get the better of Curzon Prince and Kyle, while a market move for Laa Rayb would also be noteworthy. There is also likely to be more to come from Ragheed and he too should not be underestimated. However, the last named does take on much stiffer opposition than he beat at Thirsk last time out and has a bit to find. Laa Rayb is unexposed and, having shown ability on his first start, he cannot confidently be ruled out. Still he looks harshly treated off 82 and is vulnerable in this company. Kyle has been the model of consistency and deserves plenty of credit for what he has achieved so far. Having finished in the first three in every one of his nine previous starts, he holds obvious place claims at this level and can make the rest aware of his presence. Curzon Prince was no match for the selection when they met at Leicester and, despite being 5lb better off, he looks to have his work cut out. Therefore, we stick with Masi Moon, who will be very hard to beat if Hugh Bowman can get the best out of him again. That Leicester success was a deserved reward and the Rod Millman-trained gelding looks worth persevering with tonight.
