      Verdict

EJBAAR has been thereabouts of late and was not beaten far in fourth over track and trip in June - he gets a speculative vote. Long Awaited has slipped down the weights and finished a bit closer at Chelmsford last time while Doctor Parkes was only beaten a nose over 6f at Lingfield recently and is a course and distance winner. Perfect Pastime is unpenalised for winning an apprentices, race at Windsor on his latest start, though Straits Of Malacca was not far behind, and Babyfact has been placed on a couple of occasions since winning at Bath last month.
