Verdict
Deningy steps up in distance having run well in both starts to date over 6f. Calibration showed promise over the same distance at Ascot on his debut but GOOD OMEN was second at the latter track over today’s trip on his introduction and the Haggas colt may come out best in this. Whip Nae Nae was only beaten a head over a mile here last time and is another to consider while City Of Joy cost 250,000gns and is entered in the Royal Lodge Stakes next month. He makes more appeal than fellow newcomers Sound Bar and Leapt.
