Verdict
Obtaining a good racing position will be paramount in this handicap dash and hopefully Richard Kingscote can do just that on the in-form BE PROUD, who needs to be held onto before producing his trademark late challenge. He handles any ground should the rains arrive and a rise of 3lb for his latest effort when a Haydock runner-up is acceptable. Course and distance winner Lil Guff came right back to form after a couple of below par efforts when a good second at Windsor and Oisin Murphy is booked. Her overall profile affords her a strong claim. Ancient Times is consistent but the feeling is that the handicapper may just have his measure, whilst Got It now needs to back up a better effort latest. Call Me Ginger has had a relatively quiet season to date but is on a good mark and should not be ruled out.
