Amazonian Dream travelled well before getting up in the final stride at Newbury in a similar contest and Oisin Murphy is an eye-catching booking for a stable in red-hot form. He should be competitive again although a 6lb rise for such a narrow victory seems harsh. Latin Lover, like his trainer, is having a more than pleasing first season and should be thereabouts but FAST RESPONSE is already 2-4 and overcame difficulties in running to score quite cosily last time. He looks progressive and his talented apprentice takes off a valuable 5lb. Northern raider Jungle Bee and Jastar, who sports first-time cheekpieces, are also noted.
