Verdict

The two best efforts of Alsvinder have come on the all-weather but Jim Crowley is a notable booking and he'll prove the one to beat if handling this first taste of softened conditions. Francisco has a major absence to overcome, Seve hasn't been seen on turf since last September and Bahamian Sunrise has failed to beat a rival on his last two starts so all three cannot be confidently considered. STONEYFORD LANE was well beaten the last day but that was in a better race at York and he previously did well to land a Class 4 Haydock sprint. He's effective on forecast conditions and is a viable alternative in receipt of 9lb from the topweight and likely favourite.
