Derulo is tackling the trip for the first time and his best form has been on quick ground so this should prove ideal. Rathealy won twice over hurdles in the spring though both were on soft going while Interconnection appeared suited by 1m4f at Newcastle in October and hasn't run since. The lightly-raced Gang Warfare produced a couple of very good runs on fast ground last season and should improve and though it's a long time since DANDY won this is his trip and ground so he gets the vote as he's very well treated. Correggio made a pleasing reappearance over a trip too short at Pontefract but the only course and distance winner in the line-up, Hallingham, is 12lb higher than that victory in July.
