In depth
Verdict
A high draw is generally considered to be an advantage over this sort of trip at Sandown, so the likes of Kew Green, Pagan Dance and Free Option (reserves his best for Kempton) drawn in stalls one, three and five, respectively may struggle. Of more interest is Mick Channon's Analyze from stall seven, although he still seems to be a touch high in the handicap. James Fanshawe's Macadamia has only gone up 3lbs for her win at Newmarket last time and has to be respected but the TEAMtalk vote goes to the topweight Counsel's Opinion. Chris Wall's five-year-old has been running into form of late and from a favourable draw has solid claims at an each-way price.
