Verdict
Sir Mark Prescott's Coalition is likely to be a popular choice for this stayers' handicap and, although that will be reflected by a short price, he is difficult to oppose and gets the TEAMtalk vote. A winner of his last three starts, the son of Polish Precedent won with plenty in hand at Newcastle last time and there should be plenty more improvement to come. The dangers include the consistent topweight Bid For Fame, Peter Hedger's Salisbury winner Malarkey, Alec Stewart's in form Fourth Dimension and Typhoon Tilly from the Charlie Egerton stable but it will be a surprise if the favourite is beaten.
