Verdict
Henry Cecil's Balmy showed enough on her Windsor debut when finding only Shaiyzama too good to suggest that there is a race of this nature well within her compass. Although beaten five lengths by the winner there, the third was another three and a half lengths further adrift so the form looks solid. Certainly she should be good enough to beat these and gets the TEAMtalk vote. Amanda Perrett's Key Virtue has had more chances than most and while both Number Ten and Zyzania have shown ability neither should be good enough. A bigger danger to the selection may come from one of the three newcomers in the line up, with Alec Stewart's Grand Lodge filly Grand Lass looking the pick on breeding but Cecil's horse has a favourite's chance.
