Verdict

A couple of these dominate the betting with preference for EIGHT RINGS, the only Grade 1 winner in the field. Bob Baffert’s colt unseated after a collision at Del Mar on his first attempt at the highest level but made no mistake in the American Pharoah Stakes here when making all to win by a wide-margin and gets the vote over Dennis' Moment. The latter landed the odds with the minimum of fuss when beating Scabbard in a Grade 3 at Churchill Downs and certainly looks up to this level but easy maiden winner Anneau D'or has much more to prove in this company. Wrecking Crew and the Japanese raider Full Flat are others with plenty to find while both Storm The Court and Shoplifted finished well behind the selection here last time.
