In depth

Verdict

My Renaissance is a standing dish here and back on a winning mark. He’s a little quirky nowadays but it would be no surprise to see him reverse recent form here with both Elixer and Frankie Ballou if in the mood. Six One Nine and SILKEN MOONLIGHT clashed over track and trip last month with the former coming out on top by half-a-length. There is nothing between the pair on today’s terms but we’ll take the runner-up, unplaced over hurdles since, to get the better of the argument today. Cawthorne looks best of the rest.
