In depth

Verdict

Brother to a winning hurdler, Seven Arches made a winning debut at Newcastle in December. He’s had wind surgery since and carries a penalty here, however, which may have opened the door for BOLD ENDEAVOUR. Bought for £190,000 after winning an Irish point in the autumn, he looks a nice prospect for an up-and-coming yard. Blue Collar Glory pulled hard on debut but that wasn’t a bad start while it would be no surprise to see the Fame And Glory filly Sallagh in the shake-up but this trip is likely to be too short for fellow newcomer Uncle Gez.
