Verdict
By far and away the better of the two maiden divisions with the best pair looking to be Country Classic and Averse with the vote going to the last named. Averse was highly tried in a listed bumper at Sandown two starts ago and although sent off odds-on on her hurdling debut she lost nothing in defeat when being narrowly beaten by Tulipa. That form has worked out well and she can get off the mark here. Bumper winner Country Classic has improved with each run and was unlucky last time out when beaten a length by Aldirous at Wetherby. She has proved she has the ability and can go close again today. Of the others Agnese will be worth noting in the market as she had a pleasing debut at Hexham last month and can only improve and Allez Scotia has been knocking on the door lately and is another one to note. But for the winner we return to Averse.
