Verdict
The Mick Easterby-trained Moonlit Harbour has taken well to hurdles and is fancied to banish the memory of a painful defeat inflicted by the useful Meggies Gamble when the two met in a similar contest at Wetherby last month. Whispered Secret, Crunchy and King Of The Arctic are also going the right way in this sphere and head the list of dangers to the selection. However, Moonlit Harbour, who edged out Cumbrian Knight on his only other previous visit here, had shown plenty of promise before failing to shine last time and is given the benefit of the doubt today. Time may tell that there was no disgrace in his Wetherby effort and the son of Bal Harbour may have too much toe for his rivals this afternoon. Richard Guest does well with his runners at this course so Whispered Secret has to be placed high on the list of alternatives, but this German import was very free on his debut run in this country and may find Moonlit Harbour too experienced a rival this afternoon.
