In depth
Verdict
Son of Anshan can give weight away all round to land the hunter chase from Ben From Ketton and Maitre de Musique. Son of Anshan has gained his last four hunter-chase victories at Sedgefield and will be more at home here after finishing third in softish ground at Huntingdon a fortnight ago. Grant Tuer's charge has been placed in the Aintree Fox Hunters' Chase in the past and would carry this lot on his best form. With conditions very much in his favour now, he should be capable of registering another course success over Maitre de Musique who has been disappointing in the past. Ben From Ketton has been in form between the flags, but has shown little under rules, while Young Tomo never hit the heights for Howard Johnson and is another with time not on his side. Son of Anshan need only repeat his previous success here to come home the winner.
