Mick Murphy gets weight off the rest and is the pick, with Medallist and Jamorin Dancer put up as the main dangers in a very poor contest to round off proceedings. Bets should be kept very much on the small side here as none of them have shown any really worthwhile form, but Mick Murphy, back over hurdles may be the answer. He was in the process of taking a hand in the finish on his last visit here when coming to grief at the last, and although disappointing at Hexham subsequently, may appreciate a return to this track. The smaller obstacles may help as well, and Mick Murphy is as good a choice as any. Medallist won a Haydock maiden for Sir Michael Stoute two years ago and has been in action on the Flat this season so will be fit enough. Whether he is good enough is another question though. Jamorin Dancer is another that has been running over fences without success and now reverts to hurdles without much confidence. Therefore, the most tentative of votes goes to Mick Murphy.
