Verdict
Micky Hammond's return to the training ranks has been characterised by the resurgence of Minster York and he is confidently selected to land his third handicap of the summer. Although the handicapper has put him up eight pounds for his last success, the horse had more in hand than the official margin suggested and having been pulled out of other contests on account of the going, he should be capable of defying that hike on today's surface. Hoh Invader makes his first run for Anne Duffield over timber. He was a decent performer when with Charlie Mann and while fitness will not be an issue, he is given a watching brief today. Taakid posted arguably his best performance when finishing second at Wetherby to Chaparro Amargoso. Unfortunately for his supporters, he has not looked to be particularly in love with the game since and is avoided here. The Todhunter yard would not be running Flying High from out of the handicap unless he had a conceivable chance but while he has bits and pieces of form, he will need to brush up on his fencing if his reappearance effort is anything to go by.
