This will be quite a test for the Three-year-olds and while this looks a moderate contest, something has got to win. Kismet Queen has shaped as though this trip should be within her compass and she will be hard to keep out of the frame, while Bill Middleton, who is a half-brother to three winners in the States can be expected to have improved for his debut. Discoed has looked slow to date and cannot be fancied, even at this level. Moon Jaguar has plenty of speed in his pedigree and is not certain to be suited by this trip. Iron Warrior is better than he has shown so far, but his future looks to lie in handicaps, so a chance is taken with Herne Bay, whose dam managed to win a Listed event as a four-year-old. He will be suited by this more galloping circuit, having been found out by the sharper Wolverhampton track and he can take this before going on to better things.
