In depth

Verdict

A seller in all but name with the weights headed by the maiden Sir Night, who takes another drop in grade. This is the easiest task he has faced so far and should make no mistake. No shortage of dangers including Diamond Racket, who tackles this trip for the first time. A half-brother to a winning hurdler, he may well improve for this step up in trip, while others to consider include handicap debutantes Star Sound and Vanbrugh, who may both be better than they have shown so far.
